Bentley Motors has unveiled two special-edition Continental models for the Middle East – the Continental Flying Spur Arabia and the Continental Flying Spur Speed Arabia. Besides retaining all the performance of the company’s Continental Flying Spur and Spur Speed, the limited 50 units of the two new models comes with some additional exterior and interior features.



The Continental Flying Spur Arabia which is designed with an elegant 14-spoke diamond alloy wheel has Bentley’s highly acclaimed W12, 6-litre engine and is capable of achieving a top speed of 312 km/h and sprints to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Its twin turbo engine comes with 552 bhp (412kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. The Continental Flying Spur Speed Arabia is equipped with bright silver, 10-spoke, 20-inch wheels which are also compatible with optional carbon ceramic brakes. Its W12 engine offers 600 bhp (610 ps, 449 kW) with 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. It will drive from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 322 km/h.
To add to comfort, it includes ventilated seats that can cool or warm passengers. Both cars are further distinguished by an exterior front fender badge, tread plate and ashtray lid badge – all bearing the Arabia signature.

Ford has unveiled the new 2011 Harley-Davidson F-150 which combines the smooth handling and durability of America’s best-selling trucks with the authentic styling of Harley-Davidson. It comes with a standard V8 6.2-liter gasoline engine, which debuted earlier this year on the F-150 SVT Raptor. The new engine delivers 411 bhp (306 kW) and 434 lb-ft (588 Nm) of torque, making it the most powerful and capable Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 ever offered. It provides a maximum trailer towing capacity of 9,300 pounds.


It comes equipped with a voice-activated Navigation System, a 4.2-inch LCD screen, power moonroof , Remote Start System and a rear-view camera. It cruises on 22-inch Euroflange forged wheels with performance tires. The paint selection is classic Harley-Davidson – Tuxedo Black and Ingot Silver. For those who needs more control of transmission gear selection, an optional SelectShift Automatic transmission functionality is also available. There is no news available on the price of the vehicle.

This is something interesting. The pictures we have are tempting, indeed. Kia Motors has announced that they will be unveiling the new all-electric city car concept ‘Pop’ at the Paris Motor Show next month. The zero-emission concept car follows last year’s Ray plug-in hybrid and the company’s announcement of the ambition to become a leading supplier of fuel-cell cars by 2015. Kia must be planning similar grand ideas for electrics and plug-ins.



The car which can seat three passengers, two up front and a third person who can sit behind (unlike the Gordon Murray T.25′s three-seater arrangement which has two passengers either side of the driver), is just around the same length as a Toyota IQ at about 3 meters. Additional information on the Kia Pop is expected to be released at the motor show which starts on September 30. We are just as eager as you are to know more about this cute looking Pop.

Pictures clicked on the sly at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in Germany have revealed the new three-door Opel Astra in OPC trim. There were reports that Volker Strycek, former DTM race series champion, was behind the wheel of the test vehicle.



The Astra OPC has a 296 horsepower (224 kW, 300 PS) turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which is powerful enough to produce 27 percent more power. It is having large Brembo brakes which can be seen through the wheels, as well as cross-drilled discs. It looks like having dark tinted lenses over the headlamps.

A new exhaust was also seen, with tailpipes arranged on either side of the bumper. Other features of the car are  not known yet, but we guess more  can come about it in the near future.

The 2010 Moscow International Motor Show will see Jaguar lifting the wraps off a new armored version of its XJ luxury sports saloon. Built to offer ultimate safety, the new version has been spruced up with state-of-the-art armoring package that promises up to B7 levels of ballistic protection for passengers inside.



The XJ Sentinel, as the vehicle has been christened, would be sold with a full three-year 50,000 mile factory warranty, plus comprehensive after-sales support.  Tipped as the ultimate armored luxury limousine, the XJ Sentinel would target governments, security organizations and private individuals who look for high levels of security. The limo is made charming with the use of advanced design, refined performance and a good looking cabin.

The vehicle also boasts of a lightweight aluminium body structure, which makes it possible for a pretty 500kg payload for passengers and luggage without compromising on performance. Powered by a responsive 5.0-litre 385PS AJ-V8 Gen III naturally aspirated direct-injection V8 petrol engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle boasts of a powertrain that ensures swift and agile performance. The car is capable of racing from 0-100 km/h in 9.7 seconds, with a top speed of 195km/h.

Saab seems to be getting over all its delays and is now set to bring forth its 9-4X for a world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show this  November. We get to know that the car takes off from the Cadillac SRX, and boasts of admirable styling.



The new Saab 9-4X will come sporting a 7″ dash, a console-mounted ignition, and egg-crate air vents. To be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 245 hp (183 kW / 248 PS) and a turbocharged 2.8-liter V6 with 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS), the car is expected to come with capabilities to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and have a top speed of 250 km/h. Not many details are available right now, though. However, it is speculated that the car might roll out into US dealerships by early spring.

The Concours d’Elegance had a sneak peek at the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, which is being dubbed as the world’s fastest car. All decked up in blue, the carbon fiber body panels boasted of touching speed levels to the tune of 431.072 km/h. The car has its speed electronically limited to 415 km/h.



When it arrives at retail for consumers, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport will boast of an engine that will be tuned to deliver 1,200 hp and up to 1,500 Nm (1106 lb-ft) of torque.  The bigger turbochargers and intercoolers incorporated would provide the extra bit of power we are talking about.

Spruced up with added efficiency in the aerodynamics scene, the car will come with carbon monocoque benefits thanks to a new carbon fiber structure which lightens weight and adds rigidity.

Bugatti is expected to begin production of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport by around this fall.  The car maker will sell the first five cars as part of a limited series called the World Record Edition.

Spy cams at Nurburgring seem to be never disappointed. A few pictures of the Lotus Evora S are now splashed across the web even as the car gets set for full load of testing before it formally launches on to one of those stands at the Paris Show on September 30 for a debut.



The Lotus Evora S, from what we get to garner, is a supercharged 2+2 that will get showcased at Paris alongside the Evora automatic version that sports a dual-clutch gearbox.  It has been confirmed that the Lotus Evora S and Evora Auto will see the wraps lifted off them at Paris.

From what we see from the spy cam pictures, the Lotus Evora S could well be one of those super cars that would sail on performance tires blended around lightweight wheels.  It is being speculated that the car’s supercharger will pump in added performance levels to the 3.5-liter V6 engine  incorporated under the hood.

The 2012 Range Rover Evoque five-door model has been spotted by prying photographers at the testing grounds of Nurburgring. The pictures, which reveal a heavily covered Evoque, bring before us two more rear doors and that makes it different from the earlier three-door car.



Though not many details have been forthcoming from Land Rover, we tend to believe speculations that talk of engine options that could include a 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel, a 3.2-liter petrol inline six, and possibly a hybrid 2.0-liter turbodiesel option.

The car is expected to sport a front-wheel drive as standard, while the all-wheel drive will be optional. Expected to be showcased at the Paris Motor Show, the 2012 Range Rover Evoque five-door model is more likely to churn out more details of itself by around September.

What you see here are pictures of the Izaro GT-E, which is expected to roll out on to our streets either as an all-electric car or a hybrid. An absolute super car that is waiting to come, the Izaro GT-E  is tipped to come with capabilities that would let it race to 100 km/h in less than four seconds!



The maker of the vehicle seems to be nursing dreams of giving it a top speed of 280 km/h, aided by the nearly 500 horsepower in electric motors, or a 416 hp (310 kW) hybrid power plant.

The car’s weight – measuring just around 1000 kilos – would enhance the car’s dream of racing to such top speed levels. Cutting down the weight would be the aluminum, magnesium and aerospace-capable steel exteriors.

The Izaro GT-E would sport batteries that permits for a 250 km range. When it comes to the hybrid, it would go 690 km without even thinking of a pit stop somewhere in between. Izaro Motors is likely to drive out the car with a tag that would read something between €55,000 and €60,000.
