It was Tym Switzer that made the Porsche GT2 based P-800 churn 800 horses under the hood and now the same tuning party has taking their scissors to the AWD Porsche 911 Turbo also recognized as the 997TT. As the consequence, the engine power has been kicked up from the standard 480 hp to the 800hp bracket which means that this car can now pelt from 0 to 60mph in less than 3 seconds. The P800 kit (GT2 Based) that finds a place in the 997TT has evolved from the SLEDGEHAMMER project car that ran in the 9s last year. The difference was that it was a race package which was evolved into a street package by maintaining the Factory DME.

Other than the power upgrade, the kit involves custom GT30 turbos that come with custom billet compressor wheels on ball-bearing center sections in lightweight stainless housings. Also, there are custom intercoolers and special software that takes care of the ECU, racing style exhaust and headers and an upgraded carbon clutch package with electronic boost control. If you possess the 997TT, you can ask for the package right away from a Switzer Performance dealer.
