11 Super cars belonging to the president of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, were seized in Paris by the French National Police. The reason for the incident has yet to be confirmed but it may very well have something to do with the widespread  investigation the president is currently undergoing. The judicial inquiry by the Supreme Court of France is looking into Obiang’s use of the country’s state funds to purchase private property in France.

Among the vehicles seized, with a total value of more than million Dollars, are two Bugatti Veyrons, a Maserati MC12, a Porsche Carrera GT, a Ferrari Enzo, a Ferrari 599 GTO,  an Aston Martin V8 V600 LM, a Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupe and Bentleys.

The fate of this magnificent collection is unknown but there’s a good chance they will be auctioned by the French government.
