It’s been a while since Aussies have been waiting for a right-hand driven Chevrolet Camaro, but GM somehow has denied them the chance. But since ones adversity is another’s opportunity, Queensland-based Performax International, an Australian importer and converter of new US-made passenger vehicles has announced world’s first RHD version of the muscle car.

2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS

Performax is giving the Aussie muscle car lovers a great opportunity, but considering that the RHD Camaro will cost a shrieking 9,000 AUD, meaning that not every fanatic down-under will be driving it. Compared to the American price of the more conventional Camaro in the US — ,745, seems like Performax is going to make quite a profit in there. Despite the price tag, the company has managed six pre-orders and it is hopeful of more.
