The auto world has received a glimpse of the 2011 Chrysler 300 much earlier than previously anticipated. The redesigned vehicle now has several chrome accents, a new grille and also LED-infused headlights.



There were no visuals of the interior, but sources say that the cabin will have soft-touch plastics, wood trim, and sound deadening material. There is also a two-piece sunroof and Garmin navigation system.

The seats will be hot/cooled optional. While the shape of the car has remained more or less the same, the new windshield is on a sharper angle, the wheel arches call out for attention and the body is more stylish than its predecessor.

The vehicle will be available in two engine configurations -the 3.6-liter V6 which will produce 292 hp (218 kW / 296 PS) and 260 lb-ft (353 Nm) of torque, and the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 which will give 370 hp (276 kW / 375 PS) and 395 lb-ft (536 Nm).

A five-speed automatic transmission is linked up to these, and an all-wheel drive option will also be available. All of this information has come through sources in the auto industry, and official information is expected to be released soon.
