Georgia Plant
In 2009, Kia opened its first US manufacturing plant in West Point, Georgia, where it assembles its Kia Sorento sport utility vehicle. That plant has a capacity to build 300,000 models annually, which should help Kia continue to gain new customers in the competitive US market.
