Toyota has announced that they’ll be showcasing the Tacoma X-Runner RTR (Ready to Race) at the SEMA Motor Show. This powerful truck will prove to be the benchmark of the company’s engineering efficiency.
The TRD supercharged 5.7-liter V8 Tundra-sourced engine can power the vehicle with an output of 504 hp (376 kW / 511 PS) and 550 lb-ft (752 Nm) of torque. The lowered suspension and the race-specific Goodyear Eagle tires on the 15-inch wheels can offer a perfect take-off for the powerful engine of the Tacoma X-Runner RTR. It is also equipped with a custom side-exiting exhaust which counts in the design as well as the performance of the truck.
Toyota has styled the vehicle in sporty red / silver paint scheme and with special graphical works. They have outfitted a TRD steering wheel and a roll bar in the vehicle and have tried to eliminate maximum unwanted elements from the interior to make it look bold and comfortable.
